Lorien Dawnwright summoned the adventurers for a covert mission—one that could not officially be tied to Dawnspire, as the implications would risk open war with Thornhaven. Intelligence revealed that Thornhaven was behind political destabilization efforts in Dawnspire, spreading propaganda and injecting counterfeit currency to manipulate inflation. Their operation was traced to Tidewatch Isle, southeast of the city, where they were coordinating with Elias Thornmere, a cloth merchant, to further the plot.
